Nurse Licenses Verification

  • The employee’s license/certification is verified, copied and kept in the employee’s file. We will present upon hospital request.

Interviewing TNN Employees

  • It is important that the employee’s application is filled out correctly. TNN coordinator review application with employee. All professional references are check and work history confirmed.

Certification Requirements

  • A current C.P.R. card are copied we will present upon hospital request. For registered nurses that qualify ACLS, PALS and other certifications, these will presented upon hospital requests.

Health Statements

  • Our nurse job requirements for our private duty nursing in Chicago includes immunization records and date of vaccinations.

Private Duty Skills Inventory

  • All of our nurses are required to complete our nursing jobs skills checklist. Our nursing agency provides skills tests for ICU, CCU, ER, and OR. If your hospital desires, our private duty nursing employees can take the hospital skills test.

Criminal Background Investigation

  • TNN contacts the state to ensure nurses are in good standing.

Orientation To TNN

  • Employees must be orientated to TNN at which time our policy and procedures are explained. Subject regarding probation and termination are reviewed. Job descriptions of Administrator, service coordinator bookkeeper and director of nurses are discussed as well job descriptions of licensed and non licensed employees. TNN role as employer is an important part of TNN orientation.
